Welcome to Our Website
Head Teacher: Cheryl Smart
Alfreton Park School is a very popular community school for pupils with special needs. Our pupils benefit from the specialist teaching, knowledge, and expertise of our staff. We have small classes of between 7 and 10 pupils, each with a teacher and at least 2 Teaching Assistants. The pupils’ ages range between 3 and 19. Classes are divided into Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form departments. The pupils here have severe, complex and profound learning difficulties with many of them on the autistic spectrum. We can support pupils with additional medical needs. ‘We aim to provide exciting, interesting and stimulating high quality education.’ We are a happy, caring community focused on helping our pupils to learn, solve problems, and develop independence and social skills through an individualised curriculum. We work hard to enable all of our pupils to achieve their full potential. Take a good look at our website – there is much to see – and if you would like to make an appointment to look round, please give us a call on 01773 832019
Report Child Abuse and Exploitation!
CEOP is a command of the National Crime Agency, and is dedicated to tackling the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and young people. CEOP is here to help young people (up to age 18) who have been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online or in the real world. We also offer advice and links to support in response to other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying or hacking. For information, advice and to report concerns directly to CEOP, visit the Safety Centre by clicking on the Click CEOP button.
